Play against Nimplayer (AI)
Step 1 — Create an account
Go to nimplayer.online and click “Sign up to play”. Enter your email address and choose a password. You will receive a verification email — click the link before signing in.
Step 2 — Choose your username
On your first login you will be asked to pick a username. This is the name other players will see. Choose wisely — you can’t change it later.
Step 3 — Start the game
From the lobby, click “Play against Nimplayer”. The game generates a random board with 3 to 5 piles containing 1 to 9 stones each. You choose whether to go first or let the AI start.
Step 4 — Make your move
Click on the stones you want to remove. You can only remove stones from one pile per turn, but you can take as many as you want from that pile. When you’re happy with your selection, click “Make Move”.
Step 5 — Win or lose
The player forced to take the last stone loses. If you win, the galaxy is freed and your streak counter increases. If Nimplayer wins, you’ll see the galaxy explode — then you can start again.
Play against a human opponent
Step 1 — Both players need an account
Both you and your opponent must be registered on nimplayer.online.
Step 2 — One player creates the game
The host clicks “Create game” and receives a Game ID code.
Step 3 — Share the Game ID
Send the Game ID to your opponent via chat, message, or any other way you like.
Step 4 — Opponent joins
Your opponent enters the Game ID in the lobby to join. The game starts once both players are connected.
Step 5 — Same rules apply
Same as the AI mode — one pile per turn, whoever takes the last stone loses.
