Nim Reimagined
One ancient game. Two ways to play it with AI. Master the logic in NimPlayer Lab, then take it to the galaxy.
NIMPLAYER LAB — Master the game
Play with NimPlayer AI
Experiment freely with Nim on a virtual marble board. Try the classic Marienbad setup, explore configurations with more piles and objects, and start building your own intuition — both the mathematical kind (nim-sum, XOR) and the visual kind (pattern recognition). This is where you learn to think like a winner.
THE LAST PLANET — Enter the arcade
Register to free your galaxy
Take everything you’ve learned into a spectacular 3D galaxy. The Last Planet keeps Nim’s exact logic and misère rules, but wraps them in an arcade experience: planetary systems, spaceships, explosions, and a streak counter that tracks how many galaxies you’ve freed. Same game. Different universe.
An ancient game. A perfect opponent.
NimPlayer is an online 3D version of Nim, one of the oldest mathematical strategy games in history. Two players take turns removing objects from a set of piles. The player forced to take the last one loses. Simple rules. Infinite depth. The AI plays a perfect game every time. Whether you prefer experimenting in the Lab or diving straight into the galaxy, the underlying game — and the math behind it — is exactly the same.

The Last Planet
Force the AI to land on the last free planet — or watch your galaxy burn. Play Nim, the ancient strategy game, reimagined in 3D.
How it works
A random board every time
Each game generates 3 to 5 piles with 1 to 9 stones each. No two games are the same.
You choose who goes first
First-mover advantage is real in Nim. Some positions are winning for the first player, some for the second. Choose wisely.
Track your streak
Every time you beat Nimplayer, you free a galaxy. How many can you liberate in a row?
In NimPlayer’s universe, each pile of stones is a planetary system. Removing a stone means marking a planet for destruction. The last free planet in the galaxy is the one nobody wants to be forced onto. Force Nimplayer there, and the galaxy is saved. Let it force you — and you’ll watch everything explode.
